Although English is the dominant language in use on the web, claiming 30% of Internet users, which leaves 70% of the population web accesses information from other languages. French is a good example. With a 5% share of the pie the language of the web, it may seem a small number until you realize that this figure translates into 54 million users. After English and Chinese (at second place 14% of users), the third most popular language on the Internet is Spanish, with a market share of 8% or 89 million pairs of eyes.
If you are at all concerned to reach beyond the 30% share in the English market to sell your products or services, the first step is to recognize that linguistic communities respond positively to a service provider who recognizes the cultural and linguistic needs valid.
How hard can it be?
Who did not think they have a "good book to write." If you do not understand how writing can be difficult before you have tried it, you probably have a different assessment on skills required after the attempt. It's the same for how it can be difficult to become a competent translator.
Therefore, reflect twice before putting any language translation work to someone who happens to talk about the target language fluently. Mastery of a language does is not necessarily a person as a good translator, as a good knowledge of anatomy is not necessarily an anointing to competence surgery.
Many of us have read stories of mangled translations and they can produce hilarious results. Translations from Chinese into English has gained some notoriety in this field. But examples abound of how a happy blunder may turn into a public relations nightmare. The result is that the turn comedy "Lost in Translation" may too quickly lead to lost customers, lost opportunities and lost dollars.
The fact is that there are linguistic and cultural nuances that must be taken into account when addressing people in their own language in order to put your best foot forward.
Leave the translation to an expert!
Professional translators have an understanding of language issues, we have already described, and their economies. They understand the value of doing things. Of course, there remains the challenge of finding the resource that is translation best suited to a particular language pair and / or object. Therefore credible organizations align themselves with a translation agency or company who has access to a wide range of translators proficient in a variety of different languages and specialist subject.
Find translation, proofreading and all manner of language resources on http://www.FreeTranslationClassifieds.com a business and commercial networking portal for the buyers and sellers of translation services and products in particular and the broader languages market in general; uniquely designed as a free listings marketplace catering to the buyers and sellers of language services and products.

The Anatomy Lesson $13.48 At forty, the writer Nathan Zuckerman comes down with a mysterious affliction--pure pain, beginning in his neck and shoulders, invading his torso, and taking possession of his spirit. Zuckerman, whose work was his life, is unable to write a line. Now his work is trekking from one doctor to another, but none can find a cause for the pain and nobody can assuage it. Zuckerman himself wonders if the pain can have been caused by his own books. And while he is wondering, his dependence on painkillers grows into an addiction to vodka, marijuana, and Percodan. The Anatomy Lesson is a great comedy of illness written in what the English critic Hermione Lee has described as "a manner at once...brash and thoughtful... lyrical and wry, which projects through comic expostulations and confessions...a knowing, humane authority." The third volume of the trilogy and epilogue "Zuckerman Bound," The Anatomy Lesson provides some of the funniest scenes in all of Roth's fiction as well as some of the fiercest. |
